Winter Arts Festival coming to Holy Trinity High School

(Fort McMurray, AB, November 22, 2021)- Holy Trinity High School is excited to announce their first Winter Arts Festival from December 3rd-11th, 2021. The festival will have two stages for live performances including, Dance, Drama, Concert Bands, Big Bands, Story Slam and Vocal Arts. Furthermore, there will be an Art Gallery for patrons to enjoy prior to and during the intermission of each show.

The festival kicks off December 3rd at 7pm with our mainstage Annie Jr production featuring the drama department at Holy Trinity. Prior to and during intermission, the Culinary team will be providing a Cafe with some delicious treats to enjoy as you walk around the Art Gallery and listen to the Holy Trinity High School Big Band. Annie Jr will run both December 3rd and 4th.

On December 6th and 8th our Concert bands take center stage. Our Grade 7 band presents A Christmas Beginning at 7pm with our Junior Big Band providing music prior to the concert on our secondary stage. On December 8th, our grade 8/9 band students and High School Band will present A Christmas Reflection. In addition, there will be a variety of performances on our secondary stage prior to the concert and our Culinary team will once again dazzle us with their Cafe creations.

On December 7th, our Vocal Arts program takes center stage performing a variety of songs at 7pm. Inspiring words will be shared on our secondary stage with our Story Slam group. At this time, the Visual Art Gallery display will be open again for viewing.

To close off our first Winter Arts Festival, our Dance program presents two nights (December 10 and 11) of their production Frozen in Place. This will feature a variety of different dances from Hip Hop to Ballet. The Holy Trinity Big Band will perform once again in the Art Gallery on our closing night of December 11th, prior to the main show.
