“Robert and I have been colleagues for many years beginning with our time together at Father Mercredi High School. The expertise he brought to the classroom in developing the minds of our future leaders was outstanding. I have been blessed to work alongside him. He took this same passion into his role as a trustee. He saw the need to find a way to continue to advocate for Catholic Education and our youth. He has spent 45 years in Education dedicated to serving this community. Well done good and faithful servant.”  — Fort McMurray Catholic Schools Superintendent George McGuigan

“Trustee Yaro has been a valued member of our Board over the past five years. Robert’s deep theological understanding and involvement in Catholic education has served our Board in numerous, invaluable ways. He was a recipient of Alberta Catholic Schools Trustees Association 2021 St. Thomas More award. Trustee Yaro’s wisdom and championship of all students will be greatly missed. We wish him God’s greatest blessings and hope that he will be able to return to his true passion of international travel and amateur archeological digs in the near future!” — Fort McMurray Catholic Board of Education Chair Cathie Langmead

“In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ ” – Acts 20:35
