Fort McMurray Catholic Schools is proud to announce the name of our Outreach School. Moving forward the school will be named Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School.
Housed at St Gabriel School in Thickwood, FMCSD Outreach provides flexible, innovative programming to help students realize success in their educational and career goals. Outreach focuses on students’ individual needs in grades 10-12 (up to 20 years of age) who are at risk of not completing school, mainly due to factors that have affected regular school attendance.
Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic School is an extension of the home where students are loved and nurtured, where a sense of family reigns, and where each heart and soul is respected, cultivated, and cared for in its own unique purpose under God. Immaculate Heart embraces the heart of the school and community through endless compassion and love, and assistance to those who are in pursuit of realizing their full academic potential.
