COVID-19 Isolation/ Virtual Transition St Anne School Grades 4-6

April 23, 2021

Attention St Anne School families,

Grades 4-6 only at St Anne School will transition to online/virtual learning from April 26th to May 7th, 2021. This means grades 4, 5, and 6 at St Anne School will be closed to all students from April 26 to May 7, 2021.

All students in grades 4-6 are a close contact to a positive case of COVID-19. The individual was last present in St Anne School on April 20th. This means the legally required self isolation for your child begins immediately, and will end on May 4, 2021 at 11:59pm.

Grade 4-6 students will return to school at St Anne School on May 10th, 2021

If your child was absent from school on April 20th they will not be required to isolate, but will learn virtually from home until May 10th.

Alberta Health Services continues to work closely with Fort McMurray Catholic Schools to support and manage the safety of our schools.

We remind families to monitor for any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 using the Alberta Health Screening Questionnaire. Please remember to complete the checklist each day prior to attending school. If you or a member of your family have any of the symptoms of illness listed, please fill out the online Alberta Health Services COVID-19 self-assessment or call Health Link at 811.

The health and safety of our staff, students and community is paramount. We know this news can be distressing for families and supports are available.

Thank you for your continued support.
