Refund & Cancellation Policy

All prices for fees and products are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)

Refunds of fees will be provided under the following conditions:

A – Fees for Supplies and Material and Transportation:

• Full Refund if student is withdrawn before September 15th

• 50% refund of annual fee if student is withdrawn before December 31st of fees

• No Refund after December 31st

• A $10 non-refundable administration fee is applicable to all fees (e.g. $10 will be deducted from any refund)

B – Purchase of goods or material from schools

• Full refund if item is returned in original condition within 10 calendar days.  Proof of payment is required.

C – Fees for Academies or other optional programs

• Full Refund if student is withdrawn before September 15th

• 50% refund of annual fee if student is withdrawn before December 31st of fees

• No Refund after December 31st

• A $50 non-refundable administration fee is applicable to all registration

D – Foreign Students Tuition Fees

Full refund if the student:

• is denied admission to FMCSD

• if  unable to obtain a study permit prior to September 30th

• becomes a permanent resident of Canada or the student’s parents obtain a work or study permit valid for the duration of the student’s study program

• There will be no refunds issued for late arrivals. Once students commence study in FMCSD no refunds will be issued.

E – Out of School Care Program

• Parents must provide 2 weeks notice (10 calendar days) to withdraw from the program

• Fees will be calculated using the monthly fees divided by the number of program day in the month

• If an error is made on the processing of the registration fee, please contact osc@fmcsd.ab.ca .  A refund will be processed within 2 work days. 

All refund requests must be made in writing and will be provided to the payee only
