Hockey Academy – Elementary Schools (South)

Working with Tom Keca, Asst. Coach of the Fort McMurray Oil Barons and a teacher himself, FMCSD is proud to offer a Hockey Academy to Gr. 4-6 students in the 2012-2013 school year.  The south side program will run 1 day/week (tentatively set for Wednesdays); the students will receive 45 minutes of dry land training and 1 hour of ice time each Wednesday.  Tom Keca will offer the on ice training and Ryan Allen will offer the dry land training.  Ryan, originally from Fort McMurray, is a Brock University hockey player who is just completing his B.PE.We are taking registrations for the program now.  You can register in our school office.  The cost is $500.00 for the year and runs from September to March.

A High School Hockey Academy Program is also available at Father Mercredi Community High School.
