How can I apply for a teaching position in Fort McMurray Catholic Schools?

Certified teachers seeking employment for teaching position are encouraged to submit their application electronically through the applytoeducation.com web site.

Please review this link prior to making an application to teach with the Fort McMurray Catholic School District to ensure your eligibility to gain an Alberta Teacher Certification, which is a requirement to work in the Province of Alberta.

Candidates who choose to apply using applytoeducation.com are not required to submit a paper application.

Where are the postings for open positions?

Teaching positions open for external competition are posted on the Apply to Education Web Site.  Applicants are encouraged to sign up for the “Job Alert” feature of the Apply to Education Site to be notified when new posting are advertized.

Can I apply to be a substitute  Teachers

The Fort McMurray Catholic School Board is hiring Certified Substitute Teachers.  We have a growing need for qualified substitutes. Alongside the Public School Board in Fort McMurray, you have the opportunity to work in 18 schools. Work is plentiful.

All candidates must be eligible for Alberta Teacher Certification. Forward resumes to the Human Resource Department at the above address.
